Description

Translate to English: Eduardo Grossman managed to interpret the recovery of the democratic spirit in daily life, in the mood and temperament of the people. He ventured into the media in the early 70s in a spontaneous and independent manner. Thus, he became part of environments that later became emblematic within graphic journalism.

From rock figures like León Gieco, Charly García, and Federico Moura (to name a few), to figures in the visual arts who, in some cases, were little known, like the iconic Federico Manuel Peralta Ramos. He also captured the grand portrait of Carlos Alonso, showing all the strength expressed in his works. Additionally, he immortalized Atahualpa Yupanqui and created a fantastic portrait of "Polaco" Roberto Goyeneche, depicted like a painting of his persona.

In his extensive work, he also addressed political reality, notably covering the military uprising of Holy Week in 1987 and Pope John Paul II's visit to Argentina that same year. This book is published in conjunction with the 2024 exhibition of his work in Buenos Aires, curated by Ataúlfo Pérez Aznar.
