Series is an attempt to examine Enrique Metinides' work from a cinematographic perspective, sequentially revealing events that substantively come together to form a common motif with continuity, at least thematically, among the various episodes of his work. This iconoclastic approach allows us to see that Enrique Metinides' work is both reality and fiction. Showing that an act took place, that it really happened, gives the photographs the opportunity to reclaim their real and fictional aspect; it also allows viewers to become aware of their own confusion as they struggle to take a stance towards ambiguous material and enables them to redeploy their gaze.
