Description
Fernando Paillet was one of the most important Argentine photographers of the first half of the 20th century. He carried out all of his work in Esperanza, his hometown and the first agricultural colony in central Santa Fe, which was the origin of the agricultural revolution that propelled the advent of modern Argentina. As the son and grandson of founding settlers, Paillet composed a vast photographic body of work dedicated to his "pampa gringa," paying tribute to the pioneers of colonization.
