The publication has been described as a collective biography, infused with activism and social action. This book features photographic portraits, writings, and testimonies of transgender individuals, transvestites, and non-binary individuals, among other identities, from diverse backgrounds. The final chapter delves into a collaborative process with transvestites living on the streets, in which the authors played an integral part. The entire project culminates with a public policy initiative that transforms street work in that context, including the establishment of a transvestite kiosk, and the aspiration to open a shelter and have a dedicated space.
