Workshop on Coloring Black and White Photographs

"Since I began taking black and white photographs, I’ve always enjoyed coloring them—first as a game, beyond mere retouching, and later as a plastic exercise that gradually evolved into my own form, a style." – Leonora Vicuña

As part of the exhibition Carrusel de melancolías by Leonora Vicuña, we invite you to participate in a workshop on coloring black and white photographs, led by the foundation’s team, where we will replicate the technique the artist uses to bring light to her photos.

Important Information:

  • The activity is intended for individuals aged 10 and over.
  • Approximate duration: 3 hours with a short break.
  • Prior registration required
  • Participants must submit two black and white photographs per person through the registration form, before Wednesday, January 29.
  • The foundation will print the photographs and provide materials for coloring on the day of the activity. Participants may also bring their own pencils and pastels.

Don’t miss the chance to get up close to Leonora’s work and learn more about this part of her creative process.

We look forward to seeing you!
