This Saturday, film director Lucrecia Martel and artist Florencia Blanco will give a talk at the exhibition hall for “Ch’ixifuturismo: The Architecture of Freddy Mamani, Photography by Florencia Blanco.”
“New Andean architecture destroys architecture from within. On a layering of simple and economically feasible structures, Freddy Mamani constructs a skin that makes it disappear. It is very difficult to draw the perceived space in one of his buildings. And with this playful disruption, slapping the colors of good criollo taste, unintentionally and simply ignoring it, the most futuristic city in Latin America is growing. The place where we will all want to live, and that Florencia Blanco has already photographed forever,” says Lucrecia Martel in the book “Una forma propia.”
The event is open and does not require prior registration.
We look forward to seeing you there!
