On Saturday, October 7th at 6:00 PM, we will have a guided tour of the exhibition "Juan Travnik. Materia." The artist will be accompanied by photographer Julio Fuks.
Julio Fuks was born in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1971. He is a Fine Arts professor graduated from the National University of La Plata (UNLP), specializing in drawing as well as printmaking and graphic arts. He studied photography at the Contemporary Photography Center with Ataúlfo Pérez Aznar and in the workshops of Juan Travnik between 1994 and 2000. Since 1998, he has participated in collective exhibitions. From 2011 onwards, he has showcased his work in solo exhibitions. He has published an artist's book with engravings based on Osvaldo Lamborghini's "El fiord," as well as the photography books "A campo traviesa" and "Genealogía del pliegue." "El blanco más doctrinario" was published in New York. Additionally, he is a researcher and curator. He has received multiple recognitions, and his work is featured in both public and private collections, both in Argentina and abroad.
