A few years ago, part of the photographic archives of three important national newspapers were thrown into the street. When this material was recovered and reviewed, several envelopes were found containing sheets of criminal records, police reports, photographs of raided houses and objects, but also pictures of detained individuals with signs of violence. Almost all of these documents were dated in 1975. Through joint investigation with the forensic anthropology team, it was possible to reconstruct the fate of some of those individuals. Many of them remain missing. This material, hidden for years, could be rescued and today it contributes to the reconstruction of memory.
