



With the presence of artists such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward Weston, Paul Strand, and the Mexican photographer Manuel Álvarez Bravo, the 1930s in Mexico was a true golden age of photography and a seminal period in the history of this discipline. Within the avant-garde movement, Agustín Jiménez emerged as a central figure. However, inexplicably, his work has been overlooked and underappreciated until the present day.
