During 2015 and 2016, various contemporary photographers were invited to share their experiences of working collectively in workshops and generating shared synergies in the construction of imagery about the city of Quito, Ecuador. The result is this book, which acts as a kaleidoscope, offering different readings each time we turn its pages. Its purpose is to propose incongruity and restlessness. It is an uncomfortable book because everything is slightly displaced, out of place. Nothing makes sense. The only thing depicted within it is the city awakening from innocence and, looking at itself in the mirror, doubting its own recognition.
