Puerto Madero, the new city neighborhood that transformed the image of Buenos Aires, was shown in this book as it was at the time of its urban transformation, when the characteristic redbrick warehouses of the port were recycled as from 1989, giving way to lofts, offices, restaurants, art galleries, a university campus, cinemas, hotels and other uses that changed lifestyles in the heart of the city, and is today being completed by an unprecedented surge in property development.

The photographic production includes black and white photography and a historical text by a renowned historian, the late Felix Luna.
