Fotito

Study by Juan Fidel Mandri (1891-1969), who was born in Bilbao and settled in Argentina in 1917. He later moved to Mar del Plata two years later. Initially, he traveled with a mobile darkroom cart along the estancias circuit from the city to Tandil. As social activities and tourism in Mar del Plata grew, he opened two establishments on the promenades - Fotos Mandri and Fotito - and during the summer seasons, he assembled teams to meet the intense demand. He retired around 1958, but his son continued his work.
