Gaitán, Adrián
Colombian artist. He graduated from the Conservatory of Fine Arts in Cali. He was the director of the fine arts magazine VanityPlast and the space "3/4 Contemporary Art" between 2007 and 2008. He was part of the collective El Camión, exhibiting in different cities in Colombia from 2005 to 2009. He organizes lunches on the Cali River and exhibits individually and collectively in museums, garages, lots, houses, and parks in Colombia and abroad, including ARCO Colombia 2015 in Madrid, the 10th Mercosur Biennial in Porto Alegre, and the 41st, 42nd, and 43rd editions of the National Artists Salon. He has participated in artistic residencies at the Cité Internationale des arts in Paris, Hotel Maria Kapel in the Netherlands, La Agencia in Bogota, and Casa Tres Patios in Medellin. Currently, alongside his individual work, he is part of the collective Circular Presents, where he explores a hybrid field between cultural management, artistic practice, and curating.
