Ferla, Herlyng

Colombian artist. He holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Departamental Institute of Fine Arts in Cali. Some of his solo exhibitions include "La voz de las cosas" (Bis) oficina de proyectos (2016), "Metafísica concreta" at Lugar a dudas (2013), and "Despreciadores del cuerpo" (2011). He has received local creation grants such as BLOC (Cali, 2012) and the curatorial research grant from the fifteen regional salons of the Ministry of Culture (Pacific Zone, 2014). His work weaves connections between the internal structure of objects and the transformations they undergo in everyday use. He is a member of La Nocturna, a collective that explores pedagogical, discursive, and curatorial formats. He currently resides in Cali.
