Diaz, Wilson

Colombian artist born in 1963. He studied Fine Arts at the National University of Colombia. His work is based on the complex socio-political situation of his native country. He explores the Colombian historical, social, and political context from the 1980s onwards through artistic operations such as the appropriation of images from mass media or historical images that he documents and uses as source material for various projects.
