Zappa, Humberto
The first photographers in Argentina to achieve prominence in the artistic field were Alejo Grellaud, Pablo Caldarella, Hiram Calógero, and Humberto Zappa, who was an outstanding practitioner of the bromoil technique. These photographers extended their influence until the early 1960s. The Argentine Federation of Photography named its museum after Humberto Zappa.
