Von Sprecher, Lucía

Born in Cordoba in 1991, this visual artist has no formal training. They work through experimentation with photography, combining tools of installation, performance, video, and writing. Currently, they undertake projects of diverse materiality, reflecting on the image, their body, intimacy, and the relationships of faith and trust established between human beings. Since 2015, they have been part of "Flores arte y ocio" with 8 other artists. In 2017, they, along with Eduardo Krumpholz, initiated Inestable no space, an exhibition space for contemporary art that operates in cardboard boxes of varying sizes. Their works are part of private and public collections in the United States, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador. Exhibitions and awards include: LAB 1 with the series "movimientos con vidrio" (UPC, Provincial University of Cordoba, 2018), Finalist 95th Salon de Mayo at the Rosa Galisteo Museum (Sante Fe, Argentina, 2018), “Polaroid 10 x 6” Exhibition at Inestable no space (Cordoba, Argentina, 2017), Finalist 45th Tucumán Timoteo Navarro National Salon (2017), “Contacto” Exhibition of 5 artists curated by Ariel Authier (BAphoto, 2017), “No importa la fotografía Importa” Solo Project at The White Lodge (Córdoba, 2017), “Qu ́est-ce que l ́art? Prostitution” Collective exhibition curated by Camila Sol at El Mirador (CABA, 2017), “Failureisanoption” curated by Raul Flores at La Ira de Dios (CABA, 2017), Special mention and acquisition of work at the 5th AAMEC Prize for Contemporary Photography at the Emilio Caraffa Museum (Córdoba, 2016), 1st National Prize for Contemporary Photography at El Mirador (CABA, 2016), finalist at the Maca Junín National Salon (Buenos Aires, 2015).
