Téllez, Germán
He studied architecture at the University of the Andes and specialized at the Urban Planning Institute of the University of Paris and the National Service of Historical Monuments of France. Between 1959 and 1960, he returned to Colombia, where he was a professor of design and architectural history, worked on numerous restoration projects, and has published several works on photography, colonial, and modern architecture. He has photographed the work of the country’s leading architects, including Cuéllar, Serrano, Gómez, and Rogelio Salmona, on whom he has produced two monographic books. He has also done photographic work for international entities such as the Norwich Colonial Society in Connecticut, and national entities like the Colombian Architecture Biennials. His photographs have been published in major national magazines and yearbooks, as well as in foreign magazines.
