Rippey, Carla
She studied in the United States and Europe, graduating with a degree in Humanities from the State University of New York in 1972. She arrived in Mexico in 1973, and from 1978 to 1984, she was part of the experimental art group Peyote and the Company. Her work always includes photography. She served as a professor in the printmaking workshop at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Veracruzana from 1980 to 1985. Much of her work consists of collages and iconography with photographic influence. She was one of the main collaborators of street photography exhibitions.
