Peyote y la Compañía
The Peyote group, named after Adolfo Patiño's nickname, was an experimental and interdisciplinary art group created in 1979 for the Salon of Experimentation at the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico City. Peyote and Company included Carla Rippey, Armando Cristeto, Alberto Pergón, Angel de la Rueda, Xavier Quirarte, Ramon Sánchez Lira "Mongo," Esteban de Azamar, and Agustín Martínez Castro until their separation in 1984.
