Lira, Juan Enrique
As a photojournalist, he served as photo editor of "El Mercurio" for thirty years, during which time he had the privilege of documenting part of Chile's history and significant events. Additionally, he excelled as a sportsman, becoming the World Shooting Champion in 1965. Between 1969 and the mid-1970s, he was a professor of journalistic photography at the Catholic University. For his career, he won the National Journalism Award in 1987, specifically in the photography category.
