Lasansky, Pablo

Pablo Lasansky was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1958. He is the head of the Department at the Argentine News Agency and works with IWGIA to create images of various indigenous peoples of South America. He participated as a photographer and editor in the exhibition "Argentine Graphic Journalism," which documented the democratic transition in Argentina. His photographs are included, among others, in the books "Monitored Democracy" (Fondo de Cultura Económica, Mexico) and "Argentina in Photos" (Ediciones B), as well as "Argentina, Cultural Heritage." In 1985, he won the Interpress Photo Award in Moscow.
