Fonseca, Mario

Visual artist, writer, art critic, independent curator, editor, and designer born in 1948 in Lima, Peru, of Chilean nationality, and a resident of Chile since 1966. The photographs of Mario Fonseca are part of various private collections, such as the LSP Collection (Leticia and Stanislas Poniatowski), as well as the permanent collections of the George Eastman Museum in New York and the Minneapolis Institute of Art in the United States, and in Chile, of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, the Museo de Artes Visuales, and the Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende in Santiago, as well as the Museo de Arte Moderno de Chiloé in Castro.
