Fantozzi, Roberto

He studied Business Administration at the University of Lima from 1970 to 1976. He also studied photography with Fernando de la Rosa in 1975. In 1978, he inaugurated his first solo exhibition "Portraits" at Secuencia Foto Galería. He received a Fullbright scholarship that took him to study photography at Rhode Island School between 1979 and 1981, where he earned a master's degree. While studying, he worked as an assistant to the photographer Aaron Siskind. He represented Peru at the II and III Latin American Photography Colloquium (Mexico, 1980 and Cuba, 1985) and at the II and III Havana Biennial (Cuba, 1987 and 1989). Since 1994, he has been collaborating on works with the sculptor Rocío Rodrigo.
