Consuegra, Nicolás
He studied art at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and completed a Master's in Arts with an emphasis on sculpture and interdisciplinary processes at the Pratt Institute in New York. Nicolás has been invited to present his work at the country's main exhibition spaces and art events, such as the Luis Ángel Arango Library, the Alliance Française - Bogotá, the 41st, 42nd, and 43rd National Salon of Artists, and the International Encounter of Medellín of Contemporary Artistic Practices—MDE07. Internationally, Nicolás has been invited to spaces such as Itaú Cultural (São Paulo), CCA Wattis Institute (San Francisco), Santral (Istanbul), MOCAD (Detroit), among others. The projects developed by Nicolás are sensitive to the context, audience, and moment in which they are exhibited. In addition to his personal projects, Nicolás is a co-founder and member of the editorial committee of Asterisco Magazine (a Colombian art publication). Nicolás lives and works in Colombia.
