Bustos, Adriana
Multidisciplinary artist, Adriana Bustos employs installation, video, photography, and drawing as means to develop a narrative discourse predominantly focused on reflections about social, political, or religious oppressions in a non-linear interpretation of history. With a degree in Fine Arts and Psychology, her career was awarded in 2016 with the Federico Jorge Klemm Prize for Visual Arts. Her work has been featured in exhibitions in cities such as New York, Quito, Buenos Aires, Madrid, or Moscow, among others, as well as in art fairs like arteBA, Zona Maco, ARTBO, ARCO, or Projects Frieze. The artist also frequents biennales in Mercosur, Medellín, Istanbul, Montevideo, Asunción, Rennes, or Ushuaia. Currently, Bustos lives and works in Buenos Aires.
