Bedoya, Luz María

She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Literature from the Catholic University of Lima. She studied Photography at the CEIF and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She attended seminars at the Collège de Philosophie, the Institut Roland Barthes, and the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. She received grants from the Photography Foundation (Italy, 2012), the International Artists Residency in Argentina (2009), and the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (France, 2000-2001). She was the Peruvian representative at the 51st Venice Biennale. She works interchangeably with photography, video, installation, drawing, text, or audio. She currently lives and works in Lima.
