Ballesteros, Ernesto

He was born in Buenos Aires in 1963. Since 1983, he has been participating in collective and solo exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. He was also selected for the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015 and for La Biennale de Lyon in 2011. The nature of his work has led him to engage in non-artistic fields such as comics, astrophotography, and indoor aeromodeling. He sees his work as something organic that accumulates layers over time. Currently, he works in the fields of drawing, performance, and printmaking.
