A photojournalist whose singularly personal approach to color, light and movement lends his works a unique tone, both in his portrayal of the harsh reality of life in Chile during the dictatorship and when he visited and documented various countries as a photographer for President Ricardo Lagos. Thanks to his keen eye as an attentive observer of social processes, his photographs were often published in the main media.
