Brändli, Bárbara

Brändli moved to Venezuela in 1959. Her main themes were varied in content: ballet, the life of the Venezuelan indigenous peoples living in the Amazon region, the city of Caracas, the artistic universe. She wrote Los hijos de la luna (The children of the moon) (1974) on the Senema-Yanoami tribe and Sistema nervioso (Nervous system) (1975), portraying the chaotic and grotesque side of the city of Caracas.
