A photojournalist working for different media outlets in Peru, ‘Chino’ Hernández mixed artistic photography with his records of protests, marches and shootings, and his portrayal of the sick face of a country. His archive, perhaps the largest in Peru, includes several unpublished photographs of figures from cultural, political and social circles.
