Romero’s artistic approach employed distinctive graphic techniques right from the very beginning, and although his style developed to include different media, such as installations, performances, interventions on public roads, mail art, visual poetry and artist's books, he never fully detached himself from these graphic experiences and the use of language. His work is underscored by a strong political commitment.
