Brodsky, Marcelo
(Argentina 1954)
An artist and human rights activist, Brodsky fled into exile in 1976. Twenty years later, he produced Buena memoria (Good memory), a visual essay about the collective memory of the years following the military coup, inspired by the emotions and personal experiences of those who lived through it. Straddling installation, performance, photography, monument and memorial, his works deftly combine texts and images. In 2014 he founded Visual Action/Acción Visual.
