A tireless photojournalist, López Meza began his career working for the Colombian daily El Espectador in 1952, before founding a news agency which has since worked with some of the world’s top media outlets. His photos recount a story spanning nearly a century, mainly shot in Colombia, which he has traveled from top to bottom, but also in other parts of the world. For this globetrotter, a photo is made up of three key things: the subject, the aesthetics and the technique.
