Karp Vasquez, Pedro

A graduate in film studies in Paris, Karp Vasquez is also a poet, critic, writer, translator and photography historian, although his main activity is as a signature-photographer. He was instrumental in the foundation of the National Institute of Photography of Infoto/Funarte, which he ran until 1986, and was head of the Department of Photography, Video and New Technologies of the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro until 1989.
