Wilenski, Sivul
(Poland 1897-1952)
Wilensky arrived in Argentina from Poland in the 1920s, and by 1930 had set up his photographic studio on Florida Street, where he displayed the portraits of figures from high society that appeared daily in La Razón newspaper. Highly sought-after for his creative aesthetics, he was an exclusive photographer for the magazine Sintonía, which opened the door to his meeting a very young Eva Duarte, whom he photographed between 1939 and 1940.
