Ferro, Laura
Laura Ferro was born in 1985. She studied photography at Escuela Argentina de Fotografía and at Escuela Creativa de Andy Goldstein. She also has a degree in Psychology, specialized in Carl Jung. Her work includes not only photography, but also video, writing and installations. She attended workshops by Leila Tschopp, Eduardo Stupía, Ticio Escobar, Santiago Porter, Fabiana Barreda, Guadalupe Gaona and Pablo Ortiz Monasterio.
In 2018 she published her first book “Lo salvaje apareció en mis sueños”. In 2019 she was granted with a scholarship by Fondo Nacional de las Artes for a photographic research project called “El tiempo es un paisaje” based on archive material. In 2020 she was a finalist in the category Latin American Photographers to exhibit in Paris at Le monde vu par les femmes d’ Amérique Latine.
