Heinrich, Annemarie
(Germany-Argentina 1912-2005)
Heinrich arrived in Buenos Aires in 1930 and began her career portraying figures from the Colon Theater. For 40 years, she illustrated the covers of the magazines Antenna and Radiolandia, becoming known during the 1940s for her portraits of Argentine film stars: a genre in which she specialized, as well as nude photography. Hers was an experimental approach to the photographic image in which she developed a singular mastery of the use of light and space, perfecting retouching techniques.
