Pintor, Oscar
(Argentina 1941)
In 1982, Pintor opened his own design and photography studio and two years later, began work as a photography consultant for the City of Buenos Aires Cultural Center (today the Recoleta Cultural Center), creating the renowned Fotoespacio area which he ran until 1987. His favorite subjects tend to be urban or rural spaces without people, although his portraits and nudes also reveal a very personal approach to his subject. Uncluttered, intimate themes and a distinctive way of handling light are his trademark style.
